Marzena Godecki (born on 28 September 1978 in Poland) is a Polish-born Australian actress. She is best known for her starring role as Neri in Ocean Girl.
Early Life and Career[]
Marzena and her family emigrated to Australia when she was four years old. Marzena was a student of modern dance and ballet when she auditioned for the role of Neri. Her graceful style of swimming helped her win the role. Previous to the role of Neri Marzena had a few cameos on the show Round the Twist.
Life After Ocean Girl[]
Marzena chose to leave acting after the end of Ocean Girl to concentrate on her studies. She had hopes to become a veterinarian, a career that did not happen. She married in 2008, changing her last name to D'Odorico. She and her husband have a son named Nico born in July 2008 and a daughter named Sasha born in late 2011. Marzena have been runing a children's fashion clothing store called "Tiny Threads" located in Melbourne from 2008 to 2012.
